Youth Path Organisation (YPO)

Youth Path Organisation (YPO) is a youth-led nongovernmental organization founded in 2009. We are committed to promoting the cause of a youth-led development through the creation of initiatives that inspire and empower the youth to fulfill their potential and contribute to activities that create social and environmental impact in Ghana. We inform, raise concerns, mobilize and empower young people for service. Our sphere of activities include governance policy advocacy, regenerative agriculture, environmental sustainability, health & sanitation, and peacebuilding. We have Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since July 2013.

We envision a world where every young person realizes their full potential and actively participates in civic responsibility and community development .

To Promote the cause of youth-led development through the creation of networks and initiatives to inspire, empower and equip young people and vulnerable communities with hands-on tools to deploy their unique capabilities to transform societies.

We are Committed to the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. These include protecting the rights of all persons, equal treatment, equal opportunities and non-discrimination. YPO ensures diversity and inclusion in the recruitment of staff and volunteers, in the daily operations and with the people and communities where we work, this is done without recourse to ethnicity, religion, gender equality, disability and race. We ensure that our staff and volunteers abide by the policy provisions of integrity, anti-corruption, and decency at all times. Our operations and workplace practices reflect the principles of solidarity, transparency, complementarity and accountability. These principles are fully integrated into our Statutes, Volunteers Policy, our daily operations, including the people and communities where we work.
